History We are perpetually involved in evaluating the success of our program. We have entered calves in the Yuma County Cattleman's Association Fed Beef Contest and have won carcass champion twice, rate of gain champion, and grand champion twice. Also, we have been reserve grand champion at the Colorado Cattleman's Fed Beef Contest twice and carcass champion once. We continue to performance test sires at the Great Western Beef Expo. Progeny from our genetics have yielded a fist place and third place for net return over all pens tested. For two years in a row at the Expo, our genetics produced steers that were 100% choice, yield grade 1 and 2s. Also, we have purchased feeder calves from bull customers that have received $20 to $50 per head premiums on entire pens, not just load lots. Creekside Charolais is quickly becoming identified by name in the feeder marketplace for true 'performance and carcass genetics'.
Our Program We would like to thank those who have purchased bulls from us and encourage those who are considering a Charolais bull to consider our program. Furthermore, we welcome the opportunity to be a part of your calf marketing process. We want the chance to evaluate the product we sell to you and want you to get the most you can for your calf crop.
